Our Staff
Chabad Hebrew School prides itself in our staff. Staff members are imbued with a desire to impart their love and knowledge of Judaism to their students. Recognizing that Hebrew School is an academic after-school program in addition to their regular school hours, our teachers endeavor to create an engaging program that keeps the interest of the child.

Hi! My name is Chana Heintz. I come from Utrecht, The Netherlands. During the week I am a pre-school teacher in Queens. I am very excited to teach my third year in the most fun Hebrew School at Chabad of Port Washington.

Hi! I’m Mushki Lipton and I am from Toronto, Ontario. This year I will be teaching the first grade in Hebrew school. I have 6 years of experience working with children around the continent. I love children and I am very excited for a fantastic year!
Kita Bet - Second Grade
Morah Mushka Paltiel
Hello! I’m Mushka Paltiel from Brooklyn, NY. I’ve worked in day camps as well as sleepover camps with all different types of children ranging from age 4-12. I’ve always loved children and the joy they bring with each new thing they’ve learned. I’ve also worked with special needs children with the friendship circle. I’ve gone down to different states over the USA for the high holidays bringing to them the spiritual dimention as well as some fun spirit to lighten up their month. I eagerly await my new job here at Chabad of Port Washington. I can’t wait to get to know your children and grow together with them.

Hello, I’m Tzipah Wertheimer and I am teaching the third grade class. During the week I spend time with a much older crowd as I am the co-director of Chabad of Queens College alongside my husband. I have three young children and am very excited to work this year with your children this school year.

Hi! I am Devorah Leah Donin. This year I will be teaching Kita Dalet of Hebrew school. I am very excited to teach because my past experiences working with Chabad have been both fulfilling and fun. I have worked with Chabad of San Diego and I have substituted a few times here in Port Washington. I am really happy that I have the opportunity to be working again here in Chabad of Port Washington to help other children learn more about Judaism.

Morah Miriam Wilmowsky
Hi! I am Miriam Wilmowsky. I come all the way from Crown Heights to teach in a fantastic Hebrew school in Port Washington. All my summers were spent being a counselor of different camps all over the world. I love caring for children and doing outreach. I am very much looking forward in meeting the wonderful children of this community.

Rabbi Arieh Raichman
Shalom! I’m Rabbi Arieh Raichman and I am from Houston, Texas. I have a black belt in KingFu and speak 5 languages fluently. I have worked with teenagers in Argentina, Brazil and of course North America. I am a teacher in a Jewish day school in the city and know that to grow in learning one need to enjoy it.
